About the Sector Dialogues

Sector Dialogues are known as the exchange of information, experiences and best practices on a technical, high political issues or both, on topics of common interest and which occur regularly at different hierarchical levels.

The Facility has already supported over 30 sector dialogues between Brazil and the European Union on the most diverse themes. In general, the Sector Dialogues are formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding, or equivalent agreement. These exchanges can take place, even informally, since they happen frequently and obtain approval from the EU-Brazilian Joint Committee.
