With rapid population growth and an economic boom, the larger Brazilian cities face major challenges with respect to the transport of people and cargo, requiring close coordination in search of the most viable solutions to the problems of urban mobility. The new National Policy on Urban Mobility (Law No. 12,587 of 01/03/2012) gave rise to the Pilot Sector Dialogue on Urban Mobility, under the auspices of the Ministry of Cities (MCID).
The action selected by the project will receive support to carry out a comparative study of urban mobility solutions adopted by the EU, send a Brazilian mission to sites in the EU selected through technical criteria, and the dissemination of the results through an event and the launch of a digital publication.
