On May 18, the Ministério do Planejamento, Desenvolvimento e Gestão (MP) [Ministry of Planning, Development and Management] held a meeting with the Public Sector Innovation Network (InovaGov), in which a report on the actions performed since it was created was presented. The InovaGov Network is comprised of different institutions that work together to foster innovation in the public sector. This network, an initiative of the European Union Delegation to Brazil (DELBRA) and the MP, counts on the support of the European Union-Brazil Sector Dialogues Support Project.
During the event, representatives of work groups formed to discuss the Mobilizing Challenges (themes deemed relevant for the Network to act on) presented activities performed and proposals for ongoing projects. According to Luanna Roncaratti, Project Manager at the Ministry of Planning (MP) and person in charge of assisting the Network, the presentation of the works stressed the importance of consolidating the Network.

According to Luanna Roncaratti, “At the end, it was possible to jointly discuss and define the next steps and an operation strategy of the Network. Also discussed were continuing the activities of the work groups, and the next event, which will address the execution of a Cooperation Agreement among the entities comprising the Network”.
