Learn about the main results of the 7th Call
The Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI), on the Brazilian side, and the Joint Research Centre (JRC), on the European, were the partners with the highest number of actions approved. Among the Sector Dialogues, Science and Technology (six actions), Social Development and Employment (five) and Environmental Dimension of Sustainable Development (four) were those with the most actions supported in the 7th Call.
With the support of the Project, 25 Brazil-Europe missions and six Europe-Brazil missions will have been undertaken by 30 November 2014. This high number shows the important role of the EU-Brazil Sector Dialogues Support Facility in establishing closer relations between Brazilian and European institutions, thus strengthening the Sector Dialogues.
Another nine events on Sector Dialogue topics will also be supported. A further 27 foreign experts and 19 Brazilian experts have been hired to produce studies and deliver lectures at events.
The high number of foreign experts hired shows a Brazilian demand for knowledge of European practices. The number of Brazilian experts is also high, showing a concern that there be a local professional who can reflect on the experience learned from the Europeans with a focus on the Brazilian reality.
